What You’ll Do

We’re looking for a Fullstack Engineer (Backend-leaning) to build and scale the core systems behind Airtop’s AI-powered automation platform. You’ll work across the stack with a strong emphasis on backend, distributed systems, and infrastructure. You’ll collaborate closely with product and AI engineers to ship reliable, high-performance features that power agentic workflows and real-time web automation.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Designing and building backend services and APIs that power AI-driven features and web automation at scale
• Owning distributed systems that handle real-time orchestration, scheduling, and stateful agent flows
• Implementing robust data pipelines and storage patterns for logs, traces, evals, and long-running tasks
• Standing up reliable infra: containerization, observability, CI/CD, and cost-aware cloud architecture
• Building user-facing features end to end when needed, from database to UI
• Driving performance, reliability, and security across the platform

Tech Stack & Tools

• Services and infra: Kubernetes or container orchestration, Pulumi, modern cloud (GCP, AWS), queues and streaming (Kafka, Pub/Sub, SQS), Redis
• Languages: Typescript, Go, Python
• Datastores: Postgres, Redis, DynamoDB
• AI platform: Multi-model orchestration (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, OSS models), LangChain or LangGraph, evals and observability (Brainstrust, Langsmith)
• Web automation: Cloud browsers and real-time browser control

Who You Are

• 5+ years building production backend systems and APIs that scale
• Deep experience with distributed systems fundamentals: concurrency, queues, idempotency, retries, horizontal scaling, etc.
